The emerging designer is a limitless wealth of innovative, irreverent designs, all created with utmost attention to detail in her cozy Chicago studio. “I have more ideas than my hands could ever keep up with,” Sarah Varca says. Though every piece she creates is imbued with her signature playful sense of fun, “There is nothing I take more seriously than making women feel fabulous.”
All Varca gowns are handmade in the USA by talented people paid a living wage.
“I don’t think about the dress first when I am designing. I ask all my clients, how do you want to feel? That’s where I start. With the feeling.”
Sarah Varca lives in Chicago with her husband, Ricky, daughter, Lily Rae, and cats, Jane and Elizabeth Bennet. Sarah is a Wyoming native, a Francophile, a cheese enthusiast, a knitter, a gardener, a painter, a thrift store addict, and a feminist.
She also wants to make you a wedding dress.
